Description
This advanced massage and bodywork workshop specifically focuses on conditions and injuries that Life Time members often experience including- plantar fasciitis, shin splints, lower back pain, frozen shoulder, and tennis/golf elbow. In addition to teaching hands-on techniques focusing on injury prevention and proper ergonomics, therapists will learn approaches for navigating softer skills such as professional recommendations, rebooking, and effective communication.
The techniques will include many active and passive guest movement techniques, as well as a special focus on multi-session treatment planning to address subacute and chronic complaints. The workshop will also include the latest research on the therapeutic alliance between therapist and guests and its impact on therapeutic outcomes.
