Step 2a: There is no team member log in for the SpiroFit App. The “Select profile” screen is to build a member profile. The app uses the unique SpiroFit serial number to assign the test to the right club log in
Step 2b: Log in to the SpiroFit Website and Register your Device
The first time you log in, you will need to create a username and password and register your unit. This will create a club log in everyone will use to access test data.
Website: SpiroFit
Username: Use your clubs generic personal training email
Password: Set to Trainer1 for ease of troubleshooting
Notice that the unit should be on and running for at least 1 minute before the hoses are connected and the test is started
During the assessment, follow the workload prompts on the screen.
Unique to this new device is the ability to skip through a stage if necessary. This can be used if we picked too easy of a protocol and want to advance the intensity early in the test, or towards the end of the test to shorten the stages to get the client to their peak.
We should bring the client from an easy pace to their peak over the course of the assessment. Their peak does not mean they are falling off the treadmill or collapsing, but we do want them to at least a 9/10 intensity pushing hard. This will get the most accurate VO2 max results
Also new to this device is capturing 2 minutes of cooldown data. Seeing how quickly heart rate drops and how quickly the client and drop their CO2 numbers can make great reassessment data.
At this point, you are done on the Ipad or IPhone and the rest of the data work will take place on a computer.
Transferring the Data from SpiroFit to the Team Member Hub
Your club will have one log in to the SpiroFit Website, the generic personal training email, talk with your PTL for your clubs username and password
