In this Kérastase education experience, we’ll break down the fundamentals behind creating this timeless, elevated look and explore what makes a perfectly polished bob feel modern, effortless, and luxurious.
From shape and structure to shine and finish, you’ll learn how to build the foundation of a beautiful bob and refine the details that take the look from simple to sophisticated.
In this class, we’ll explore:
The fundamentals of creating a clean, balanced bob
Understanding shape, weight, elevation, and line to create precision
How to customize the bob for different face shapes, textures, and densities
Techniques for creating a smooth, polished finish without sacrificing movement
The art of minimalist styling, knowing when less is more
Kérastase product selection and layering to enhance smoothness, shine, softness, and control
Finishing techniques that create that signature “expensive hair” effect

Cynthia Ivankovic
Cynthia Ivankovic is a Ridgewood, New Jersey-based Kérastase National Artist with an international career spanning three continents. Passionate about hair shaping, Cynthia specializes in dry cutting across all hair textures and brings deep expertise to custom hair diagnosis, scalp care, and restorative treatments. Known for her positive, energetic, and multicultural approach, she combines global salon experience with technical precision to elevate the salon guest experience. One of her career milestones includes training at the prestigious Kérastase K Conservatory in Paris, where she participated in intensive hands-on workshops.
